Next Performance: Hume City Council Presents Melodies at Living Legends Homestead
Gabrielle grew up in a small, sports-focused town on the outskirts of Melbourne, where opportunities for aspiring performers were limited. Undeterred, she was determined to be on stage, seizing every chance to pursue her passion and develop her skills, regardless of the distance. Her love for performing was sparked as a child watching Musical Theatre, where she was transported to a world of limitless possibilities, all through the power of music.
Beginning her journey at just four years old, Gabrielle embraced acting, singing, and dancing, and has never looked back. She performed at various events around Melbourne, often as a featured artist or backing vocalist, including for well-known Australian artists such as Jessica Mauboy, Guy Sebastian, and Cyrus.
Gabrielle also honed her craft in local theatre throughout her adolescence and gained valuable stage experience performing at local bars and restaurants, while contributing to weddings and charity events between the ages of 16-18.
In 2020, Gabrielle earned a Bachelor of Musical Theatre from Federation University Arts Academy, where she had the privilege of working with renowned director Alister Smith on A Chorus Line, alongside several other distinguished professionals. Graduating amidst the challenges of COVID-19, like many artists, Gabrielle faced obstacles to continuing her performance career. Now, she's more excited than ever to share the gift of music with you and take the stage once again.
